Chief Red Bull, his buffalo-hide shield bearing the effigy of his personal totem, leads a band of Sioux warriors against their traditional enemies, the Crows. He wears the head of the pronghorn antelope to lend him agility and speed for battle. The Indians studied animals and borrowed much from their ways.
