Accompanied by their families, Crow hunters follow the migrating buffalo upon which they depend for food, for the clothing they wear, the robes upon which they sleep, and the tepees that shelter them. Aquisition of the horse gave the Plains Indians mobility, transforming their hunting methods and their style of life.
