The shortest and most treacherous hole at the Augusta National Golf Club has not changed in 50 years. The swirling winds, the canted green guarded by Rae’s Creek, Hogan’s Bridge and the unparalleled scenery make the 12th the course’s signature hole, which, as many a Masters champion will attest, is the deciding factor in who leaves with the green jacket. Unmistakable with its yellow flowered blooms of Golden Bell appearing each spring around the green, the centerpiece of Amen Corner is beautifully captured by Linda Hartough.
